Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

This is our first time to have pet insurance -we lost our family dog of 10 years last year to cancer and our vet bill became very high as we spent months trying to save him. We have another dog now and we wanted to make sure he has good vet care his entire life and that we could afford the unforseen care that he may need in the future. We have been very happy with Embrase and their quick response to everything.

I've carried pet health insurance for years but never really needed it until my retriever was diagnosed with cancer. Prognosis very poor, and chemo was the only hope to keep her alive. That was four months ago. Her cancer is in regression, and she remains asymptomatic. You wouldn't even know she had cancer! Embrace has been supportive of our fight with every claim, with fast, full reimbursements. They are as responsible for my dog's medical miracle as her oncologists are. I know they will stand by us going forward. She'll have chemo every three weeks for the rest of her life. Without Enbrace, that life would be much shorter. Instead, I have my happy, active dog, LIVING (not dying) with cancer.

My dog's sudden illness was hard enough to handle without having to worry about complicated claim forms and customer service. Embrace took care of everything- even when my vet's office neglected to provide the documentation and complete the forms, I didn't have to spend my time making phone calls. Embrace sent me prompt emails letting me know what point in the process they were at, the info they were waiting for from the vet, when the claim was being processed, and when to expect the reimbursement check. I can't stress enough how happy I am with their service and thoroughness.

Embrace was recommended to me by my parents who has been using them for the past few years. I set up coverage for my 3 dogs about 4 months ago. One of my pit mixes stopped eating and was initially showing signs of abdominal pain along with intermittent vomiting. Over the course of 3 weeks we were back to the vet for various tests and treatments (including blood work, x-rays, and an ultrasound) until finally being referred to a surgeon for a possible foreign body obstruction. That ended up being the issue with the resulting surgery went extremely well. The claim submission process was so simple. Embrace covered all claims for all services and paid them out within the allotted time to do so. They even followed up to make sure we received payment timely. I am so happy to have gone with Embrace and strongly recommend getting coverage for your pets through them. Dealing with an accident/illness with your pet is stressful by itself, not having insurance to help offset the costs just adds to it. Knowing we were covered really helped us focus on our pet as opposed to the budget aspects.

Our "fur-kid" is a problem child but you'd never know it by the excellent and unwaivering service we receive from Embrace...Our claims are always handled quickly and completely, (even when I don't fill the form out correctly). Thank you Embrace folks for being so patient and courteous!
