Straightforward

Emabrace appears to be a straightforward company that doesn't pull any punches. By that I mean they do eaxactly what they say they are going to do. Claims are processed quickly, politely and they always keep you informed of the claim status.

Can't Say Enough about Embrace

Best investment I've ever made. Staff is extremely friendly and respond quickly to any questions or concerns I have. I only wish my human insurance was so easy to deal with.

Good Job, Follow Their Policy Terms and Promises

I signed up for Embrace based on the reviews here as primary insurance for one dog and secondary for another. The rates were extremely reasonable (almost) half due to their non-breed pricing. The dog with the dual coverage got sick with Embrace as the secondary coverage and they have kept their word as per their policy and supplemented coverage. It did take a bit of nudging to the CEO to move things along, but once I did, everything has gone smoothly. I still especially like their policy of reviewing your pet's records in the first 30 days to ID all preexisting conditions on the record. This way you don't have to worry later about your insurance company coming up with something after the fact.

why do I have pet insurance, if they only cover the initial visit but not the follow-up? Thank you for covering the first visit even though the second visit was not covered.

Excellent Service!!!!!

Embrace Pet Insurance has been a blessing. They have great customer service and really care about your pet. I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has had a rough year. She was diaganosed with Chiaris Malformation through MRI, which was not cheap, but with the Embrace Pet Insurance was manageable. I have had no problems receiving my refunds and the claim forms are so easy.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
