Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

This is our first time with a Pet Insurance Policy and we have been pleased with the overall claim process and communication regarding progress of claim. Although the first claim we submitted took longer than expected (6 weeks, the subsequent claims have been completed in 3-4 weeks without any complications.

My claim was responded to in a timely way. Embrace makes an attempt to stay connected with their clients. We did have a problem with the vet having filled in the orthopedic exam form incorrectly, and Embrace did try to rectify the problem. I just wish they had tried to make telephone contact immediately rather than going back and forth with faxes. Now, we are still waiting for the vet to return from vacation. Next time there is a glitch, I would appreciate a telephone call to the vet and to me in order to get the problem resolved in a timely way. It has been 2 months...and, we are still waiting for a resolution.

I loved your insurance at first. But then, when I wanted to change my deductable, they said I would have to get my dog ANOTHER Orthopedic exam, AND on top of that! I would have a waiting period all over again, in other words, I'd be just like a new policy holder! AND!@!!@!! On top of that insult, I'm not being paid out for all my wellness claims!!! This is way more than unacceptable! It is an insult! Why would you treat a policy holder this way? I'm sorry I ever gqave you a dime! You are a rip-off!

I'm really glad we not only have insurance but that we choose Embrace. We've owned dogs for almost 30 years and rarely had anything more than wellness checks. But we got the insurance with our most recent dogs and wouldn't you know we've had issues from intestinal blockage surgery, chronic allergies, and the ever popular "unknown malady" that requires plenty of tests. Embrace is great at acknowledging claim receipt so we know if the vet set it in. They process quickly and if there is going to be a delay they let you know. The direct deposit of benefits is wonderful!

I have recommend Embrace to my friend that also has had a very hard time with figuring out the right insurance for her dog. I told her that Embrace was the way to go! They are very clear on the benefits and I was surprise on how easy it is to use. I just fill out a very simple claim form and get an e-mail saying what is covered and a check in the mail. I plan to keep spreading the news and will tell my vet also to recommend Embrace as the way to go. So easy and hassle free to work with. Thanks Embrace its a pure pleasure to have my Lefty insured by you. Worth it to not to be afraid to go to the Vet.
