Had a lot of difficulty getting VPI to reimburse for anything, even with two different illnesses in my dog. Friend and veterinarian suggested Embrace. Fast, helpful, and courteous customer service. Quick claim reimbursement turn around with option for direct deposit. Very happy with Embrace.

My dog had been diagnosed with Medial Patella Luxation and the vet informed me that she needed surgery to correct it. My heart sank as I felt so bad for her and I was also worried about the expense. When all was said and done I paid $6268 to the Animal Hospital. As with any insurance claim ( car, home owner, etc. ) you worry how much you will actually get back and how long it will take. Embrace paid everything (80%) they were supposed to and settled the claim in about a week . I cannot say enough good words about this company. The customer service reps are great , and they keep you informed every step of the way. Embrace far exceeds my expectations.

As first time dog owner, it is also my first time to get health insurance for my pet. I have an 11-month old Golden Retriever. He's young and in perfect condition but maintaining his good health could get expensive. I get him yearly supply of K9 Advantix (flea and tick prevention) and Panacur-C (dewormer) and take him to the vet annually. This is also the same year, we decided to get him neutered. I just fax them over the claim form with invoice and viola 2-3 days later I get my reimbursement directly to my bank account. They email me the result of their review within the next business day. You can enroll for direct deposit, check status of your claim and email them your questions and they rest assured you get a prompt and courteous response. So far, I made 3 claims and I'm happy with the service I am getting.

I was pleasantly surprised by this insurance. Initially there is some work you need to do to get everything running smoothly, but once you do it, it all pays for itself.

Researched the 3 top pet insurance companies that were referred to me. Embrace seemed reasonably priced and I didn't feel confused by weird terms. They were great with reimbursing me for wellness although I maxed out after just two visits. (NYC vet prices are pretty high). I did have minor billing issue but their customer service department was very quick to respond and settled it immediately. So far so good.
