Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

My 16-month-old collie has persistent giardiasis. Embrace approved the claim when my vet reported it as "Gastroenteritis and Giardiasis", but the exact same problem (one time called "diarrhea and giardiasis," and the other time called gastroenteritis) was not approved. It appears they decided not to cover it as soon as I hit the deductible.

My 5 yr. old yorkie loves snacks and we love giving them to her. We recently discovered that we were giving her too many of the wrong kind. We noticed she had developed terrible breath and passed it off as a dental problem...not so! We found out that her liver enzymes were very elevated and she could develop pancreatitis. Well, it was an easy fix (lay off all of the fatty food and snacks) and Maggie is feeling much better. The Embrace team make it so easy to process a claim and they are always there to follow up and answer questions! SO GLAD we are "Embraced"!

I have a senior dog (approx. age 12 years)and, although her overall health was very good at the time, I decided to investigate pet insurance companies. After tests, it was revealed that she had hypothyroidism and needed to be on medication for the rest of her life. The tests to determine this were expensive and my co-pay of $500 was applied. I have had a total of 3 claims for her, and EVERY time, there was something that was covered and reimbursable. I am so glad I made the choice to go with Embrace!

we purchased our dog from a breeder. After trying to get Embrace Pet Insurance we learned through your required pet exam that our young German Sheppard puppy had Hip Dysplasia. It was because of your required exam that we found that out, so thanks so much for the required exam. The only problem that we have is that it is considered as a pre-existing condition. He is a very costly addition to our family, but we love him so much. Thousands of dollars have gone into him. He is so young and I do not want him to suffer.
