First time having pet insurance

I am new to the pet insurance world; however so far so good. I have two pets and Embrace has covered everything so far. I don't have any complaints they communicate and they email me as well. I love the fact they keep me in the loop on what is going on with each claim that I have submitted.

Best pet insurance plan!

I have had Embrace pet insurance for less than a year now and insure both my 5year old dog and 9 year old cat. I thought that it was going to be expensive to insure such an older pet but it wasn't. I am happy that I got it as they have made it possible to get the care that the animals need without fearing that I won't be able to afford it. Thank you Embrace for all you do!!

Best decision i've made with puppy insurance!

GREAT customer service! we were reluctant to get puppy insurance, but it was a great decision. Our dog ended up getting sick so the insurance was well worth the multiple vet appointments! the customer service is always very friendly and professional. i would recommend if you are on the fence about getting puppy insurance that you would do it through embrace, you wont be disappointed!

Ease of submittal and quick response

Submitting the claim was so easy online, I really appreciate being able to scan the receipt and claim form to send online. That makes my life easier. And the claim was addressed in a very timely manner, I got my reimbursement check already. Thank you.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
