BEWARE
EMBRACE SHOULD BE CHANGED TO RIP OFF PET INSURANCE COMPANY.
This company is not looking to reimburse you on any claims submitted, on the contrary they are looking for any and all reasons not to pay the claims at all.
I've submitted several and all very denied. Claims for illness (such as upset stomach) was declined, their reasoning was because it was a pre existing condition; Claim for rash, again declined, their reasoning was because it was a pre existing condition. Further, stated that he had to be free of any sickness for a whole year. They claim that there is a waiting period, again, this is not true. Sales staff must be coached to make it sound like the real thing; back office is trained to look for reasons not to pay. (this company is out there to rip everyone); don't waste your money with this company

great service, easy to file claims
My dog has been having chemo for the past few weeks, and Embrace has been so great during the whole process. They have made it super simple to submit claims and they process them very carefully. Thank you for your stellar service!

Exceptional Service
So far I have submitted seven claims for the orthopedic problems our new puppy has. Embrace pet insurance has been terrific. No claim has taken more than two weeks and the latest was submitted directly by the one of our veterinarians took two days.

Ready for the unexpected?
Within 2 months this spring,my lab contracted a gastrointestinal problem, ear infection and kennel cough(even though he was vaccinated!!). The first two illnesses were treated by our vet but had to go on a weekend to the animal hospital for kennel cough. Both visits required blood work, xrays and meds. The unexpected costs totaled $1,000 easily. I had never filed a claim before, and one call to Embrace provided exceptional service and promptly received checks within 2 weeks! So relieved to have coverage with Embrace!!
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
