Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I got Embrace after I'd seen several celebrity recommendations and I did a bunch of research on different options. What I really liked about Embrace was that they had no breed restrictions, no age limits, and no limits on coverage for each breed based on typical breed-related issues. They do not cover pre-existing conditions, as most if not all other insurance companies do not, but that is to be expected. I also really liked that they offered decreasing deductibles for each year that a claim is not fulfilled. Recently my 5yo lab mix tore the CCL in both of her hind legs 5 days apart and underwent the surgery to replace them 4.5 weeks apart. The surgery and the recovery has been hard, but the claims process was not at all. So far we've spent over $9,000 and with a wedding coming up in 6 weeks, it is SUCH huge relief that we had Embrace to cover most of it of this tragedy! The times that I have had to call customer service have all been very pleasant and helpful. I've been recommending Embrace to nearly everyone I know!

I've had the Embrace insurance for my cat for about a year and a half. The first year I didn't have any bills at the vet, but this year I've had a lot of costs at the vet. Embrace makes filing claims easy and they process them fairly quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at how hassle-free it is and so far I've already received a claim payment. When you have a pet, you never know when an illness or accident can strike. I recommend Embrace for some peace of mind.

I have had Embrace insurance since 2010. Never had to use it until our little chihuahua Charlie Brown suddenly deveoped seizures and congestive heart failure last summer.Embrace has been fantastic! Claims paid quickly and great staff!

My 8 year old rescue has acquired an infection that has been resistant to the usual antibiotic treatments. We have received reimbursement for the cost less 20% ($216.43) deposited in a timely manner into our checking account for the initial treatment. We have subsequently had to retreat him with daily antibiotic injections daily for 10 days. That claim was just submitted. Based on my experience with Embrace I expect that next week 80% of that expense will be deposited in my account, as well. I'll follow up with another comment after that claim is settled.
