I honestly regret choosing Embrace Pet Insurance. My experience with them was beyond frustrating and felt incredibly misleading.
I submitted a claim and waited over 5 MONTHS for them to process it — only for them to deny it in the end. During those entire 5 months, it felt like they were just dragging things out while continuing to collect my monthly payments.
The worst part was that they kept claiming they were “waiting on specific documents” from my veterinarian, even though my vet had already sent ALL consultation notes and records multiple times. Instead of actually calling the veterinary office to resolve the issue quickly, they would only send emails back and forth, causing even more delays.
I personally tried to send the documents myself to speed things up, but customer service repeatedly told me there was “nothing they could do” and that I just had to wait. No urgency. No support. No accountability.
Then after waiting over 5 months, they finally denied the claim by saying the condition was “pre-existing” or “pre-diagnosed.” After that, they denied THREE MORE of my claims as well.
At that point, I felt completely scammed and misled. What’s the point of paying for insurance every month if they delay everything for months just to deny claims in the end?
I canceled my policy immediately. I would never recommend Embrace to anyone who actually expects help when their pet needs care.
