Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I had bought Embrace for my cat, Jack, when I adopted him. He was 3 years old. He just passed from a rare form of lung cancer. I didn't realize that the plan he had did not cover dental nor prescriptions so do purchase the Wellness plan which will cover dental and perhaps prescriptions. I was delighted though that when he became ill, that the Wellness plan covered homeopathic remedy from his vet and when it he was terminal, Embrace moved forward in reimbursing without obstacle. I made certain to provide a medical history, chart notes, and complete invoices when filing claims. I think this assisted the claim adjusters in their evaluation. Their customer service team was compassionate and efficient. Two paws up.

My dog, Rosie, has had several health issues in the last couple of months. This was our first experience with our newly acquired insurance through Embrace. They were quick to respond to my claims, and they were processed in a timely manner. I am grateful for them and happy that I chose Embrace over the other options that are out there. I covered my two dogs (Dante and Meesha) for the first time this year. I looked at several companies but chose Embrace because of the Wellness option. It's a wonderful way to budget their wellness over a year. So far it has covered both sets of yearly vaccinations and annual physicals. Embrace even covered visits from an animal behaviorist to help with Meesha's blanket-munching addiction. The service is always fast, friendly, and excellent.

Our pug is vaccinated for Lyme but was in an area with many ticks and ended up getting a different parasite. The antibiotic to treat her was almost $60 but thankfully we had Embrace.
