Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace Pet Insurance provides great insurance protection for your family member. They have great plans with a variety of options to choose from with reasonable prices and I love how they offer a wellness program that you can add to your policy. They also make it very easy for you to file your claims by providing various ways to submit your documents like mail or email. They also have a great customer service team who process your claims within one to two weeks and they are available to answer any of your questions. Overall I would definitely recommend Embrace.

My dog had bone cancer in a leg that had previously had arthritis. Embrace initially denied the claim as pre existing. I needed pre authorization to amputate and they denied it. Meanwhile we went ahead with the surgery to save his life since time was of the essence. After multiple letters from my Vet and phone calls from me they finally authorized. I think they probably deny claims thinking people won’t pursue. I don’t think this is unique to this company as I have experienced it in human insurance as well. But ultimately they came through. Just a reminder to pursue if you feel like an insurance company is in error of your claim.

I didn't need to use Embrace for the first several years I had Bentley. He was just too healthy. His 7th year of life has brought about some older age problems and I've had to use the vet a few times. Embrace has reimbursed my reimbursable expenses quickly and, most importantly, explained them to me fully. I have been impressed not only by this, but also by the friendliness of their customer service representatives. l recommend Embrace fully.
