Molly's best care

We've been clients of Embrace, since Molly was a little girl boxer. Sadly and unfortunately, she has needed a lot of medical care. We would not have been able to provide that we have fro her, without Embrace insurance!

Fast, caring processing of claims

For the second time, Embrace has helped us get through a major surgery for our dog. They process claims in a quick, straightforward way and have never given us any trouble covering our claims. With two major medical episodes in 2 years, the cost of insurance has more than paid for itself. It is the best decision we made for our dog and our finances!

Worthless

Those giving favorable reviews must be submitting only wellness claims. I haven’t had a single claim paid without argument in the last year. Be prepared to have to make your vet follow up on every single claim. You will need to monitor every one because they sit on them and don’t process them. I’d use Happy Paws. Hear great things from other owners much happier with their pet insurers.

Avoid like the plague

Don’t bother with Embrace. Expect flaming hoops to get any coverage, hideous mishandling of claims, endless requests to vet for the same records over and over. They will take your money, haggle endlessly about ever claim, deny everything and it’s just one long battle for any kind of coverage.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
