Glad Embrace was there when we needed it
Pet insurance is something you need, but never want to use. Embrace was prompt at playing our claims for Matty's issues with her ACL prior too and through the surgery. Staff is always responsive to questions. My only wish is that they would obtain a complete health history when they issue the policy. We purchased our first policy when she was about 2 months old, but they need a complete history prior to our insuring her with them. She is now 5 years. I was a little concerned about getting this information from the vet since we no longer when to the same practice. It would be much easier to get that history when they issued the policy.

Very happy with Embrace
We have had Embrace Pet Insurance for over 4 years and they are awesome! They pay claims as stated in their policy; we've never been denied a claim for a covered service. Also the claim and reimbursement process is very easy and quick. We currently have the accident and illness policy along with the wellness policy. We've been very happy and will continue to keep policies on our pets through them!

Outstanding Coverage and Claims Paid Promptly
Knowing her potential for acrobatics and high activity level, our Aussie pup Ripley has been Embraced since the day she came home with us three years, at 8 weeks old. I never expected her major claim would be for a dental injury. Playing with her brother, she had a hold of his collar and caught her molar on the metal D-ring, breaking it all the way to the root line.
Embrace covered the initial consult with the local vet as well as the oral surgery with a board-certified veterinary dental specialist. Being able to get her the best care and knowing Embrace would cover the surgery provided tremendous peace of mind. I was impressed with Embrace's prompt and helpful customer service as well as their payment of all covered expenses exactly as outlined in my coverage documents. There were no surprises. I received my reimbursement much faster than expected.
I cannot recommend Embrace highly enough and both my Aussies will be Embraced for life!
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
