To be honest I was skeptical regarding pet insurance…

To be honest I was skeptical regarding pet insurance because I’ve heard some horror stories about pet insurance. However, embrace pet insurance has eliminated all skepticism that I once had. My little boy had a terrible eye corneal ulcer that lingered through multiple treatment with our vet. After months of different treatment that didn’t seem to heal the problem we were referred to an animal eye specialist and will undergo surgery very soon. embrace made timely reimbursements and extremely quick pre-authorization for surgery. I have recommended family and friends to use embrace pet insurance. And to anyone reading this review, I highly recommend embrace pet insurance! Embrace is the real deal, no gimmicks, tricks, or smoke and mirrors, just good honest pet insurance with great customer service and very quick reimbursements!

It was easy to sign up

It was easy to sign up and all the information to make the decision to use Embrace was readily available. I haven't had the need to use it yet but I suspect the claim process will not be a big hassle.

The response time to my claims has been really excellent. I appreciate the quick payment. This has really helped me with the expense occurred from the treatment for my kitty's leukemia.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
