My policy has gone in ten years from…
My policy has gone in ten years from $360.00 per year to $3600.00 per year for the same amount of coverage.
I realize that there is inflation and the cost of veterinary care has escalated as well.This seems excessive.
Despite the good customer care and reasonably prompt repayment, I would choose a different company to insure my dog.
Pet insurance has many additional companies who can provide service at a more competitive price.
In the past I have recommended this company to all my friends and in online dog forums. I can no longer do that.

Would not recommend embrace ever again.
I loved this company til they screwed me over. Beware when your pet gets older they price gauge you to the point where you have to leave and you’re left with an elderly pet without insurance. And they don’t even care about it. Nothing was done to make it right. These companies ultimately don’t care about you or the well being of your pet. I will never recommend embrace ever again. Find somewhere else to insure your pets before they get older and they do this to you. My pets insurance went from $60 a month to almost $400 per month. Heartbroken

Customer service is great and claims are paid fast
Customer service is great. So nice not to have to do everything via email or chat. The phone reps pick right up. So easy to submit a claim and get reimbursed. All claims have been paid as outlined in the policy with no issues. I normally get deposit 48-72 hours after I submit my claim. So far they have paid almost $9k this year due to my dog being diagnosed with Lymphoma.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
