Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

i had a 21 year old cat who died in January. I called Embrace to cancel her maintenance insurance (I could only get maintenance because I didn't insure her before the age of 15.) My vet come over to my house once a week for several years and I never submitted a claim. After my beloved cat died, I called Embrace to cancel her insurance. I spoke with Rachell, and asked her about backdated claims. Between Rachell and Tevana and my vet sending those years of statements, all of my claims over those years have been paid! I am SO grateful for Embrace. Thank you. And I am SO grateful that my other younger cats are insured by Embrace.

I’ve been with Embrace since 2019. Up until this experience, I had never used my plan. I feel like it is important to mention because, at one point last year, I questioned why I would continue to insure my 13-year-old dog. This year, it became clear. Embrace went above and beyond in ways I cannot explain. For several weeks, I thought I would not be able to afford a critical surgery for my dog. Embrace, and their employees, made it happen. It may have taken several years, but I’ll never forget what Embrace did for me. They did not behave like an insurance company. Instead, they treated me as a stressed out pet owner who needed a little extra help and understanding. Embrace enabled me to afford a surgery for my 13-year-old dog that otherwise I couldn’t logically spend on him. I believe they gave me a little more time with him. And that, is worth so much more than I can possibly describe… as I’m sure anyone reading this will understand.

This was a simple well done explanation and execution for a claim I submitted. Questions were answered quickly and due to my choice of how I processed my dogs claim the check took a bit longer but I was kept abreast of the processing all along.

Expensive and overpriced for slow and inconsistent service. In a single year with no claims, my dog's premium jumped nearly $100 a month. When I asked why, the response was because he is getting older-- as if aging backwards is an alternative.
