We just signed up with Embrace last…

We just signed up with Embrace last week and the registration process was very quick and easy and we had a great customer service representative, Shanece, who explained the plans and signed us up. We’re looking forward to having the security of Embrace in the upcoming years.

Short Experience

Unfortunately I can't give a meaningful service review of this company. I signed up a year ago, filed no claims and on renewal, my premium almost doubled. The increased premium was beyond my ability to pay on a senior fixed income so I had to cancel the policy.

My beautiful dog became very ill with…

My beautiful dog became very ill with anemia and she almost passed. They stood by us while she made a very slow recovery. They made me feel like they were as concerned about her as I was. She was diagnosed with extreme anemia over 2 years ago and they are still there for us.

Embrace pet insurance is the best!

Embrace has been a blessing for my two rescue furbabies since 2016. Recently my male Schnorkie had a complete hind leg CCL tear. Embrace processed and settled my emergency visit claim within 48 hours from submission. I sent the CCL surgery precertification form simultaneously and it was approved within 72 hours. My furbaby had his surgery within 72 hours of injury and is in recovery now. I am so grateful for embrace pet insurance allowing me to focus on my furbaby without having to stress about the overall cost of everything.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
