Lack of information on required veterinary report : I recently purchased a policy for two…
I recently purchased a policy for two cats and a dog. One cat had been insured by Embrace for several years, but I added in the other two pets to avoid any surprises in the future. The person that sold me the policy told me the dog needed to get an exam within 10 days by the vet in order to avoid a six month moratorium on any orthopedic issues.
I took my dog to the vet and told him I needed the health report for insurance. That’s what the insurance broker had told me.
I called Embrace’s customer service to ask them what I was supposed to do with the Health report now that I got it, and that person said there was an actual orthopedic report form that had to be completed by the vet? The person that sold me the policy did not tell me that.
The customer service rep said that theywere emailing me out a form that I could give my vet.
Hours later, I searched my inbox and there’s nothing there? Not sure this is such a great company to deal with?
