Steer clear of this company at all costs!
I recently submitted a claim for my dog, Koru. He was diagnosed with cancer and X-rays showed a huge mass on his heart and lungs. I have full coverage that includes cancer and treatment, but Embrace denied my $5000.00 claim because Koru had a cough seven months ago which was diagnosed and treated for.
When I showed the vet the explanation of why my claim was denied, she said there’s no way my dog could’ve survived with this growth on his heart and lungs for the last seven months and it had nothing to do with his cough which was treated!
I’m unable to afford treatment for my dog and as such have had to put him down.
Thanks for killing my dog Embrace not Pet Insurance!!

They refused to pay a claim even though…
They refused to pay a claim even though I provided a physical for my dog saying he didn’t have a pre existing condition. Yes I missed the fine print saying the physical had to be done within a certain time. I am unable to provide those documents but did provide documents from before the incident. No way he should not have been covered.

Don't hire them
Don't hire them, they steal your money and then they start asking you for the pet's documents, until they invent the craziest of arguments for not paying. They told me, after they charged 18 months. They say that my dog had swallowed an object in 2021 and that was a pre-existing condition (they did charge 18 months). The truth is that my dog had coccidiosis. The claim I filed was for about $500 and with a deductible of $250, to make a meager 90% refund they sent me emails for almost a month and then of course they denied it. Please EMBRACE return my money. Where is the leader of that company?
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
