Embrace was very easy to work with

Embrace was very easy to work with. From the first claim I filed to the most recent (last claim I will file), they have processed my claims quickly. Unfortunately, I had to put my sweet girl down two weeks ago. Cancer came quick and without warning.😔 Customer service was very sympathetic to my situation.

Fast Turnaround Claims

Not that Tala is established, I first had a mandatory blood test to be able to continue her thyroid medication. I received notice of acceptance and in a very timely manner received my payment. I also had gotten Taka thyroid pills and had the same experience. I’m very happy with Embrace.

Overall great experience and company!

I've been with Embrace for a couple years now and I've only had great experiences with them. They really came through when my dog needed an MRI for his back. I also love that they give you a healthy dog credit that goes towards your payments.

Website is easy to navigate

Website is easy to navigate, and upload all required documents for claims. The turnaround time for refunds once the claim has been reviewed and a decision made is one day if you have direct deposit. Overall experience with Embrace is excellent with no complaints. Thank you Smile

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
