Claim for dental procedures denied as pre-existing. They failed to "discover" the pre-existing until almost a year after we enrolled. The condition was treated and resolved (Per policy, dental treatment is covered once it is treated and resolved. We had it treated and resolved and they still denied it. They do not advise you of exclusions for pre-existing until a claim is submitted. They take the premiums and provide no coverage.

And it just keeps getting better. Claim was rereviewed and several items still not covered for cancerous tumor removal. 1.) Anesthesia - NOT COVERED!!! I guess they give the dog a bullet to bite on while doing surgery since you can't give them whiskey like they did for humans back in the 1800s. 2.) Removal of the cancerous growth - NOT COVERED!!! Fatty tumors are not covered (I understand that), but I guess you just keep the cancerous tumors in the dog to spread to others areas and eventually kill the dog???!!! 3.) Pathology report - NOT COVERED. Will not pay for the report to verify all cancer was removed and no further treatments such as radiation or chemo are needed. What are my premiums paying for then?

The claim process was seamless — I received pre-certification within minutes. My French Bull dog suffered an acute allergic reaction and had to be rushed to the ER vet. Due to the severity, he needed an overnight stay, but knowing that Embrace covered the cost was incredibly reassuring. He’s doing fine now!

Submitting claims and receiving reimbursements is quick an easy. Evaluations are fair.

I have had multiple claims in the past 4 years for my cockapoo , Kelsey. I have never had any problems getting my payment. I am so happy I purchase this insurance if not I would be very hard pressed for money to pay for her to have care.
