Don't waste your money

This is the worthless insurance company, don't waste your money on them, I have been trying for 30 days to file a claim and its impossible to get a straight answer from their costumer service, all they do is repeat same "cue" cards notes. They keep asking for the same documents over and over again. Tipical insurance company scam. What makes it worst is that they are connected with USAA. They don't deserve a star

Recommend Embrace

After rescuing a 4 week old stray and experiencing the costs associated with saving him, I decided to obtain pet insurance. EPI was a tagline to my USAA Insurance, and after reading reviews on 6 or so other companies, went w/them. Short version: These folks are great. Vincent, one of my Tux's had a major mucus plug, UTI and was urinating all over the house. The final bill (Hospitalization, surgery, feline, recreational drugs, et al, was over $2K. Vet and I submitted ppwrk and all notes to Embrace. They paid out promptly, minus the deductible. The yearly fee for both cats has already paid for itself.

They did great

They did great! My bank CANCELED my debit card because of "suspicious activity" on my account! I knew my payment was coming and called! She handled the situation very professionally! I still haven't received that new card, after waiting over a week and a half! They, Wells Fargo, REFUSED TO EXPEDITE my new card! Trust me, I will be taking my business elsewhere!!!

Emergency/Hospitalization claim

We just had a very large claim for our dog and Embrace processed it and I had money in my a count within 10 business days! The rates are great, I cannot say enough great things about Embrace, I recommend them!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
