They seem to excel at denying claims
I found during my roughly 1 year with Embrace that its claims people consistently go the extra mile to deny claims. With little or no money on the line (within the deductible), they take a sweeping view of what's a preexisting condition. (Because there had been what may have been an allergic itch on a toe, many months later they stated that an infected cut on the face was due to a preexisting skin condition). Tells me all I needed to know about their apparent approach to the business. One good thing: woman I spoke to to cancel the policy was great, didn't try to delay or dissuade me.
