Embrace saved our Doodle!

Embrace saved our Doodle! Our doodle recently started acting different and had severe upset stomach and vomiting on a Sunday. Being overly cautious we called the emergency vet, only to find out our sweet girl had a Color torsion and was on the verge of dying. We rushed her to emergency surgery without hesitation due to having insurance through Embrace! Following the costly procedure- Embrace covered the entire amount aside from our deductible. We are so grateful to Embrace and our animal hospital for saving our Doodle!

Good insurance, but high rate increases

Was a great insurance, but once by dog turned 4 the rates went up by 50%.. I just cannot afford anymore.

Embrace pet insurance was very helpful…

Embrace pet insurance was very helpful to my husband and I, our dog swallowed a small hearing aide battery and she had to have emergency surgery to take it out, our bill at the vet was high but having Embrace was a life saver for us it helped us so much so having the insurance is a plus and they are very helpful with everything

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
