Embrace is a Scam
I wasn’t going to review Embrace because I just wanted them out of my life but they’ve sent me three emails asking for a review so here it goes.
Wish I could give 0 stars and get the money back I gave them to actually pay for my dogs medical bills. This is just a scam. They dont cover anything and want you to pay them more money just to have a “loan” to pay for preventative care (neuter, shots, etc), that you have to pay them back for over monthly installments.
DO NOT USE EMBRACE!!!
Edit: their reply makes it simple to find preventative care - but that wasn’t the problem, I had to dig deep into the find print to find that neuters is “preventative”. Don’t use these scammers. They don’t care about customers, they’ll find stuff in fine print. Don’t use these losers.

Filled a small claim for prescription…
Filled a small claim for prescription within the first 3 months and they gave me so many excuses not to approve the claim. Keep your money and stay away from embrace. I could only imagine if my dog was actually injured badly and I had to deal with these people for a claim worth a few thousand. Thankfully I didn’t wait to find out.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
