Embrace has been really good to both me…

Embrace has been really good to both me and my dog, Casper. She had an accident where she fell off my bed and fractured her left hind leg because she didn’t have pre existing conditions it was covered under the accident and illness limit of the policy. Embrace is good but as with any insurance understand your coverage.

After working in an emergency clinic…

After working in an emergency clinic for a few years, I swore I would never make a decision regarding my pet's lives based on money. Embrace is affordable and their website is easy to navigate and submit claims. I do not regret a single penny I have spent with Embrace since 2021.

We just enrolled our 2 Labs with Embrace Pet Insurance. We spoke with Elijah from Ohio who took our call on a Sunday! He was knowledgeable, explaining all aspects of and options available to us through Embrace Pet Insurance. He addressed all our concerns and because of our interaction with Elijah, we enrolled our 2 dogs at the end of our conversation! Easy to use

Easy to use. Platform / process for submitting claims is clean & efficient. Claims typically processed quickly and Explanation of Benefits is always clear. When we've had questions the support team has always been responsive and helpful.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
