Poor customer service and claims
Poor customer service and claims process.
Coverage seemed good but expensive, onboarding for new insurance all clear and easy. Unfortunately when it comes to making a claim, they are awful. It’s been over a month since I submitted my claim and nothing. On 5 occasions I have called them, each time waiting between 20 and 50 minutes before giving up on the unanswered call. Email responses take days and don’t address the issue, seem like a bot that gives a cut and paste answer that doesn’t address the issue. They also need you to submit each receipt from the vet separately. That means that when they “contact your vet for more information” which is one of their stalling tactics, they don’t request everything, they just do one receipt. Wait a month or more (still waiting so don’t know) to do something with that then presumably start on your next receipt running through the whole process. My guess is they take months to process and ignore customer requests in order to find a way out of paying out on the policy, which is more expensive than my own health insurance. I asked them what was causing the delays, if they had staff issues or something unforeseen that was causing such bad service and they didn’t bother to respond. I’m done with them. Do not recommend.
