Just say NO

I am a veterinarian, and have a client whose dog was diagnosed with a malignant tumor on April 28, and whose policy renewed on May 1. ASPCA insurance covered the cost of the biopsy, but not a penny of the $20,000 the client spent in the following year. I was appalled that the ASPCA would put their name on such a deceptive policy. Each year when the plan renews, it is written as a new policy, and anything the pet is being treated for is then considered a preexisting condition. I find this tactic egregious and unethical.

Guinness

I`ve had Petshealth for three years, not wanting to be caught in the situation of not being able to afford the high cost of emergency procedures, if they were to arise. The policy saved me on visits to my vet. and settled all the medical bills in a timely manner.

Happily Ever After

My Bull Mastiff is one of the largest blessings in my life. She developed a tumor on her leg that needed removal in a short span of time. I was very thankful to have Hartville Pet Insurance, because this was a situation that I hadn't budgeted for. Hartville Ins. was very prompt and paid for a big portion of the surgical expense. I highly recommend this Pet Ins. product and am thankful for their expertise and speed in handling my dogs claim.

Don't leave home without it.

This is my first time getting pet insurance and so far I am happy with ASPCA. I have no other company to compare it to. I can however compare it to paying full price at the vet! Get pet insurance!!

Good thing we didn't cancel....

After paying over a thousand dollars to save one of my cats a few years ago, I decided to buy pet insurance for all my pets. Since my pets very seldom get sick, I had recently considered canceling their policies, but a couple of months ago, another one of my cats, Sabrina showed up with a bloody nose and was sneezing a lot, so I took her to my Vet; after a biopsy it was discovered Sabrina had an aggressive form of cancer. The tests and procedures were expensive, but not as expensive as they would have been had Sabrina not been insured. Sabrina is now doing better and the cancer seems to have gone away, who knows, perhaps the biopsy removed the entire affected area; I’m just glad she’s back to normal and even more glad I kept her insured. You don’t really appreciate pet insurance until you have that emergency you weren’t expecting.
