ASPCA | Pet Insurance Review

I am very happy with the coverage I have for my 13 year old pug. When I first got the insurance she was younger and much healthier now that she is older she has developed diabetes and associated disorders. I have upgraded her insurance twice and each time I am met with prompt courteous service and reps that really seem to care for my pet. Payment of claims or the turnaround time is very fast. I wish my insurance were this good. Thank you for caring and providing such great insurance for my Izzy. I also want to comment that there were times charges were not covered and I appealed, that also was done fairly and quickly and they actually call to let you know the outcome It was refreshing.

The claims are settled quickly and it's great to know that I have some peace of mind when I have to take care of a sick pet.

I had my doubts when I first enrolled Talullah (my cat) two years ago but my doubts were washed away after my first claim. Talullah recently was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her mouth and had to have all but 2 teeth extracted. I have submitted 4 claims so far for Talullah and have received my reimbursements within two weeks of my claims. I've spoken with a representative a couple of times with questions and each time, the rep was courteous, knowledgeable, and voiced compassion and concern for Talullah. Talullah is on the road to recovery and so far, there has been no reoccurence of the tumor. Talullah would not be alive today if it were not for ASPCA Pet Insurance. I could never had afforded the surgery and aftercare necessary to keep her alive and well. The small monthly fee is well worth the peace of mind ASPCA Pet Health Insurance offers. My dog has a tendency towards stomach issues and eating strange things. She needed and emergency visit to the vet for a very rough stomach illness. ASPCA pet insurance paid for everything (minus deductible). My only complaint is my vet's office had to send the paperwork several times over 2-3 weeks because ASPCA was not able to receive it for some reason. This delayed my claim but they expedited it as soon as they were able to receive the papers they needed.

Filing a claim is so easy and claim processing is prompt and efficient. I've recommended ASPCA to co-workers as well. It was so nice to receive follow up calls regarding my 2 feline children Abigail and Mia. Customer service conveys true concern and compassion.
