Jedidiah Injury

When I came home and found one of my precious "babies" (cat) limping and knuckling horribly, the ASPCA insurance and the people who work with it, were professional, nice, understanding and very helpful in being able to use the pet insurance. They walked me through the steps needed to file a claim and gave useful tips on what was needed to make a "speedy" claim.

end of life

it was such a relief to know that as my cats progressed to the end of their lives (my girl was 12 at passing and her twin brother made it to 15), I was able to make decisions based on what was best for them knowing that I would receive financial assistance from their insurance plans. (I do agree with another reviewer though, that the "stacking" of pre-existing conditions is not helpful and I was fortunate that their illnesses happened to be contained within a plan year.) When I finally had to make the "big decision", it was because it was in their best interests, not for financial reasons. Pet insurance helped me make decisions in my pets' best interests, not solely based on financial matters. Also, the customer service reps have always been very kind and helpful and even the euthanasia claim was paid quickly.

Diamond's ear

Diamond is our fourteen yesr old Bichon Frise. She got a foxtail in her ear - we got her to the vet immediately after noticing her shaking her head and whining (more than usual!). The fox tail was removed but not before an infection set in - this small incident ended up being a six month search to find the cause of her ear discomfort. Long story short, we got to the root of her problem and she is fine now - ASPCA insurance was with us all the way - with their great service and prompt processing of our claims.

Very thankful!!!

I volunteer at our local Humane Society and although it's very hard not to bring everyone home with me. I adopted this little scared Beagle mix on Mothers' Day 2012. He suffered a neck injury in March, 2013. I was afraid his injuries would result in paralysis. I had to rush him to the Veterinary Hospital. After several tests, his injuries were not threatening and 2 months of extensive medical care at home, he has improved and pretty much back to normal now. His vet bill was nearly $2600. Thank goodness for ASPCA Pet Insurance!!!! They handled my claim in a timely manner and were truly caring!!!They even called a couple times to see how my little guy was doing!! Thank you for caring!!!!

Wonderful Safety Net!

Vet bills can be very, very expensive! I recently submitted two claims for my beloved cat, Pepper. It is so easy to do, especially if you have home fax capability. ASPCA's response time was great and I was amazed to actually receive a phone call to let me know my check was being processed, and on it's way. I found the representatives to be most polite and charming to speak with. What a very nice customer service experience! I am very glad I signed up for this insurance. Thank you ASPCA. What a wonderful organization you are!
