Multiple Pets, new pet injury
Easy to send claims in, little bit of navigation with filtering all the claim paper work and follow up to make sure all were addressed. When we did follow up with a call they were very expeditious and helpful. Well worth the investment, we have recommended to several friends.We have two cats and a new Lab.

So Happy!!!
I am so happy with my pet insurance. I started coverage on my husky mix in December/January. Ended up being divine intervention. In May he blew out his ccl (acl) requiring a tplo. I submitted my claim 2 days after his surgery and had a check within 2 weeks. Needless to say, I'm a fan for life!

Fast and Caring Service
I've had many dogs, but never pet insurance. I decided to try it with our new puppy. I have been 100% DELIGHTED with Hartville Pet Insurance. It's easy to file a claim, and claims are paid very quickly. I was extremely impressed when Hartville called to make sure my puppy's UTI was resolved. My own doctor doesn't do that!! I would highly recommend Hartville Pet Insurance...and have to all my friends!!

Bladder Stone
Back in 2015, my oldest cat, Guinness developed a stone in his bladder. Being a 13 yo cat, I was quite worried about him having surgery. He came thru like a trooper and has done well. Then earlier this year (2017) he had some calcification in his kidney and had to have an ultrasound. Everything turned out well. Guinness is on a special diet and has to take medication. Not having to worry about the bill during the first surgery only left me to worry about my little guy. ASPCA insurance gives me a great sense of security.
Monthly Cost
Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.
Coverage
The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%
Payout Limits
Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option.
No lifetime limits.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered.
ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment.
If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee.
Accident-Only coverage available.
