Insurance is one of the necessary evils …

Insurance is one of the necessary evils you hope you never need, especially with animals. Vet visits can be VERY expensive and over the years I have spent thousands and thousands on my babies. So now that I have younger cats, I decided to take the plunge so I have a backup in case something does happen. My vet's office recommended ASPCA Pet Health, and it has been SO easy! I've had to use it (unfortunately) but the claims process was quick and the reimbursement was deposited directly to my bank account. Every time I've called for any reason, the representatives have been great, always asking how the girls were doing and taking care of my requests with ease. While I hope I don't need to use it again, it is nice knowing that there won't be an issue!

ASPCA pet health insurance has been …

ASPCA pet health insurance has been very beneficial to have throughout the years of my continued dogs life. My dog is a 9 year old boxer and has had several minor health issues prior to this past year. However, this past year she's had a couple of more serious health issues. A tumor on one of her toes that was cancerous, but my vet was able to cure her by amuptating the toe. The other being dental disease, which my vet had to extract several teeth. Fortunately my boxer was able to heal and fully recover from all of her health issues. My pet insurance gave no issues for the most part and took care of 80% of the majority of the costs. ASPCA made follow up phone calls to see how my dog was doing after the surgeries too, which I thought was very thoughtful. The only negative is that my pet insurance was about $30 per month when I first got the insurance and it is now $60 per month. Keep in mind the breed of the dog and the level of the plan. I do not have the highest level. Although I'm not to happy about the monthly charge increasing so much, it does help when a serious injury or health concern arises. It makes decision making so much easier because ASPCA is really good with compensation depending on the level of your plan.
