ASPCA cost is reasonable and the coverage is great.

So glad I switched Luke to ASPCA insurance
Luke had been insured by another carrier for a number of years, but their premiums kept going up and up, more than 300% over 3 years. Also, things like preventative care, checkups and prescriptions were not covered unless I wanted to purchase their "premium rate coverage" for $185/mo. ASPCA covers all of this and for about half that amount. The claim process is really easy and I usually have the reimbursement in about a week. Also, their customer service staff are really kind and helpful.

Excellent service, plain and simple!
I have had ASPCA Pet Insurance for over eight years
and I have had only good experiences with them. The Claim process is easy and they always send me updates regarding the status. Before I know it, the money is in my account & they always follow up to check on my cats health. The customer service is outstanding!!!

If only humans were treated this way...
We have the medium-grade plan through ASPCA, and while we thankfully haven't had to use it but a few times in the past many years, when we did the terms were clear and honestly applied; submission of claims on their website was breezy and processing speed was expeditious; ASPCA insurance representatives were easy to get a hold of, and seemed genuinely caring. My husband and I have said this more than once about ASPCA: "If only humans were treated this way."

Happy I Have ASPCA
I thought the turn-around time was great after filing the claim. I also appreciate the fact that the claim can be directly deposited rather than going thru the mail. The customer service is outstanding and the representative added a personal aspect to the experience.
Monthly Cost
Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.
Coverage
The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%
Payout Limits
Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option.
No lifetime limits.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered.
ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment.
If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee.
Accident-Only coverage available.
