Good Insurance Glad I Got It

I swore when I got my next cat we would get health insurance for him/her. So I did. At that time there weren't that many pet insurance companies out there and since I am an ASPCA Guardian I went with them. It's been twelve years now and my cat has various health problems and the insurance has helped me a lot in paying vet bills. I can submit claims online or via my phone and have the money put directly into my bank. They have been very good in paying for her health problems and in a timely fashion. And I always get a phone call from them after I have had a claim to see how we both are doing and they are always so nice.

Very happy with this insurance company

This insurance company was there for me and my dog. They were very courteous on the phone, explained everything to me, and quickly resolved the claim and got me my reimbursement.

Fast turn around for payment

Dog swallowed foreign object, need x-ray and ultra sound, and one night stay in hospital. You can image how much this cost. Received my check with no question asked in about two weeks.

The ASPCA has the best insurance for me & my rescue dogs

I have rescued dogs for some time. To provide the best care for them I choose a great Vet & the ASPCA Pet Insurance. As a person on Medicare with a limited income it is important for me to get reimbursed in a timely fashion & the ASPCA Pet Care Insurance does just that. You can conveniently file online from home & they respond within 24 hours.

Exceptional Care

I have had to use pet insurance twice for my Brigid. Both experiences have been excellent. From the moment a claim is submitted, it is clear that ASPCA Pet Insurance staff care about your pet and you. They make the process easy and listen with a very compassionate ear. I would not even consider looking anywhere else for pet insurance. I know that my Brigid is in good hands.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
