Best pet insurance possible

I recently switched from VPI to ASPCA, I can honestly say this is way better than my last insurance company as far as insurance companies go. The reimbursement process is easy with the app, explanations are way better of what I’m getting vs what I filed the claim for, customer service is great and always call and check. All of this for a lower monthly premium.

HIGHLY unsatisfied with this insurance …

HIGHLY unsatisfied with this insurance company. For three weeks I kept sending in all documents needed and I was told my reimbursement would be processed soon only for them to turn back around and say my dogs ER visit wouldn’t be covered? He had elevated liver enzymes (which he has NEVER had before) and they said this is linked to a medication he was taking for a pre-existing condition? That’s a stretch considering there are MULTIPLE reasons as to why his liver enzymes would be elevated. Then when I asked to downgrade to accident only coverage they tried to convince me to stay on the illness plan too? Please tell me why I would even consider staying on the illness plan when you guys couldn’t even cover my dog having elevated liver enzymes due to an unknown reason? No thanks. So she downgraded my dogs plan to accident only, then says I have to pay $20? When I JUST paid them $40 for my dogs insurance? Sorry not happening. Not thrilled with this experience AT ALL and I don’t recommend this to anyone. I’ll be looking into a different insurance plan for my babies, one that will actually take care of them even though my dogs liver issues now will not be covered.

We have been insuring our pets with …

We have been insuring our pets with this company for over 15 years. I have never had any problem with any claims, and my poor sweet pets seem to always need the most medical care and incur the most expensive medical bills. Having this coverage has been so well worth the price of premiums, especially as our pets have aged. The policies we have aren't the premiere ones offered, I wish we could afford those, but the ones we do have cover major medical and believe me that is a great help financially when a beloved pet gets injured or sick.

I think your office could call the vet until the vet replies.

I know my vet office is really busy. They are a good vet. But they could use a push to reply back to insurance and pet medication companies. I had to keep calling them too. I will left their office know too. Thanks for doing a great job with sending my check to me.
