Great Coverage & Really Simple Claims Process

Before I got my 8 week old Great Dane puppy, a friend with a Great Dane suggested I get pet insurance, and full coverage for at least the first year. I'm so glad I did, because at five months old, she was diagnosed with four major heart problems requiring A LOT of medications and frequent visits to her regular vet and a veterinary cardiologist. I chose ASPCA after comparing it with a few other top brands. ASPCA seemed to provide the most in-depth coverage for the rates. In six months, ASPCA insurance has paid out thousands of dollars to cover expensive procedures and medications. The online/app claims process is super easy, and the one time I did have a question, the phone support was great.

Every Pet owner Should Have ASPCA Pet Insurance

ASPCA has helped us out with large and small medical issues. We received great coverage for Nelly's epilepsy, from the resulting hospitalization, to the monthly prescriptions. The claims process is simple through the ASPCA app. We are able to file the claim before leaving the vet's office. I tell every new pet owner I know to contract with ASPCA. You'll never know how much you need it until you need it.

Very happy we chose ASPCA insurance!

There were SO MANY choices for pet insurance. We are very happy with ASPCA so far. They have processed our claims fairly and as we expected, and using direct deposit get our reimbursement very quickly. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to all pet owners.

Typical insurer games - deny claims, make policyholder jump through hoops

My dog had a reaction to his rabies vaccine while at the vet & was given an antihistamine to treat the reaction. The claim was denied on the grounds that it was a wellness visit, not an accident, injury or sickness. The claim was only about $25 and the time & effort that it would take to file an appeal with them just isn't worth it. If this is how they nickel & dime policyholders on a $25 claim, I can only imagine the games they play when the claim is hundreds or thousands of dollars. Stay away from this insurer.
