Honest and Clear on Coverage

I have to say I went in skeptical but I have been very happy and my experience had been very good. We have had all the major issues covered along with the preventative that was stated to be covered. Essentially they stand by what the cover and you can believe the plans levels and coverage areas. We had a major scary fungal infection hit two of our cats and thanks to the coverage not only did we find it fast but treatment has been successful. Honestly I can say that without the coverage and help from the company in covering the emergency visit I don’t know how this would have turned out. We have three awesome furry family members that we rescued and thanks to the insurance they are recovering well.

This is the first time we have …

This is the first time we have purchased insurance for one of our pets and I have had a wonderful experience with ASPCA pet health. Claims are always processed very timely. When I have called to ask questions they are very nice and helpful and always take care of my concerns.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ASPCA PET INSURANCE

I have used ASPCA Pet Insurance for the last year. This is the 1st pet insurance I have ever used. Every claim filed has been so easy. The direct deposit has happened quickly and seamless. I have had numerous calls from ASPCA welcoming me to the family, checking on my dog after they received a claim from me. They called to check on my dog...having nothing to do about the claim. I can't say enough about ASPCA and their staff. They truly do care about our precious babies.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
