ASPCA | Pet Insurance Review

This is the best pet insurance I have ever had. They reimburse me in a timely manner and are always making follow up calls to see how my furbaby is doing. They really care about the pets..

We truly dont know what we do without ASPCA insurance. Our Lab got cancer and we were faced with vet bills we could not afford. ASPCA stepped in and helped us through this nightmare and made helped us save our baby. They also called to check on Nash and have sent us a get well card. They care so much and make us feel like family. Thanks again ASPCA.

I submitted a claim on 8/21. I called today on 9/6 and was told that claims were behind and although they like to keep claims to a two week process period they are only processing claims received on 8/4 today and would not be processing my claim in probably up to 6 weeks or longer. I am an insurance agent and process claims ironically, if I ever told an insured they had to wait that long for someone to even look at a claim I would not be in business. I am disappointed in the service turn around time.

I have been a customer of Pets Health Care Plan (now ASPCA, I guess) for well over 15 years now. I left to try other, less expensive plans, and quickly realized that the competitors are not interested in fair claim coverage as much as almost-automatic denial of claims. In addition to getting claims covered at a really high rate with Pets Health Care, their personal attention means the world to me. I still have a voicemail saved that one of their reps left for me when he processed a claim for euthanizing one of our dogs - the kindness and compassion meant everything and he surely didn't have to call me to offer condolences while doing his job to process that claim. I will ALWAYS recommend this company to others!
