Wonderful experience with ASPCA

Our dog, Marco, had a strange growth on his right paw. Our doctor at Encina Veterinary Hospital at Walnut Creek, CA found it later as "Interdigital mass". It started growing rapidly and aggressively, and started bothering him to even walk. His constant licking made it worse. Since the mass was getting so large and became the size that could not be remove w/o amputating some toes, we had to make a decision. If the mass is cancerous, is it worth prolonging his life (this thought crossed my mind) This is when we remembered we had ASPCA insurance. The agent answered my initial phone explained how this insurance works briefly. With that we discussed with the doctor and decided to do it properly. The doctor sent the sample to Pathologist and gave Marco several different antibiotics to make the growth smaller. Fortunately the mass became much smaller and the test came out negative. The doctor was able to remove it and he is completely well today! We had to submit several estimates for the surgery to ASPCA. Each time the evaluation was prompt. I was not good at using the web, so I used the e-mail system, but they processed both bills and estimates promptly. I called in several times for questions and the status, each time the response was pleasant and courteous. This made the stressful situation into very pleasant experience. It was a long process but we and Marco are very happy that we have ASPCA Pet insurance.

Love the way I can file a claim so quickly by taking a picture of the receipt from the vet.

Excellent response time when filing a claim. Great way to file by taking a photo. Super fast response time.

Excellent Service!

ASPCA has provided excellent service and it has been a great investment for us as new dog owners. Our 8 month old Goldendoodle puppy recently developed a stomach bug and became dehydrated. Because it happened over a weekend, so we had to go to a veterinary hospital for urgent care, with follow up treatment from our veterinarian. We were extremely pleased that ASPCA covered the majority of the cost of X-rays, rehydration, and associated treatment. It's very easy to submit and track claims on the ASPCA web site, and claims processing has been very prompt. We are extremely satisfied customers!
