Hassle Free Claims, Wish I Enrolled Sooner.

Very pleasantly surprised, I've never used pet insurance and waited 7 years before buying insurance for my two dogs. If I had known it was this easy to submit claims, and they pay all claims without hassle, I would have signed up much sooner. This year one of my dogs had two surgeries (for two separate tumors) that would have cost us thousands. It was covered by the ASPCA and they will not raise my rates or cancel my policy even though they were expensive claims. The claims process is super simple, I just upload my receipt form the vets and they do the rest. It is way easier then I thought, I assumed an insurance company would do everything to not pay a claim, but ASPCA has been so easy they pay all claims without giving me any trouble. Highly recommend.

My pet would not be alive today were it…

My pet would not be alive today were it not for ASPCA health insurance. One of my dachshunds (only 4 years old) could not walk and needed back surgery - today he is running again! My other dachshund had growths on his liver removed and would have died had he not had the surgery - today he is chasing his ball again. Neither procedure was cheap and thanks to the coverage from ASPCA I could afford to keep them both alive. I desire to have money not be a factor when making pet health care decisions. My claims were processed in a very timely manner. Thank you!

Initially

Initially, I was very leery about pet insurance. ASPCA is very easy to deal with and they are very helpful when you have questions. I trust them.

Mostly good experience

I've had great experience with their customer service line. My only bad comment is how long it can take for them to process and reimburse a large claim. I had to take my dog to emergency care on a Sunday night and was relieved to know that I would reimburse, but it took a month! Missing that amount of money for a month after charging it, really hurt me financially. I understand it was a larger amount of money than I usually claim but a month is a long time...
