ASPCA | Pet Insurance Review

When I adopted my dog Freddie 5 years ago, It was important to me to have health insurance for him. I had just lost a dog that I had for almost 16 years and I had decided if I did adopt another dog I would not do it unless I had some type of healthcare coverage to help with the cost of the vet care. After doing much research I decided to go with ASPCA and at that time Freddy was three months old Freddie is now almost 5 years old and ASPCA has helped my dog with some smaller health concerns along with a more serious knee surgery. It feels good to have peace of mind to know that if something happens to my little guy I have the means to have him taken care of properly, and that’s what ASPCA pet insurance has meant to me.

ASPCA is the first pet insurance I have purchased. I was not sure what to expect. The ease of filing claims is excellent. The turn around time from when the claim is submitted and when it is paid is very short. Payments are based on the contract and there have been no surprises. I am very happy with the product and service provided.

Kirby was diagnosed with “Valley fever”. Being a new doggie mom I was so scared to loose him. With the help of ASPCA, we were able to get him the help he needed. Thankfully at this time he is on the mend and waiting to see how he can hold on his own without medication. I am grateful to have the help and support, and in two more months we will see how things resolve for our handsome boy. My dog had caught an infection of some sort a few months ago and he’s been in and out of the clinic. After numerous tests, a surgery for remove an infectious mass and 30 days of antibiotics, it seems like he’s going to be great. Throughout this stressful time, ASPCA was a tremendous partner. It was so easy to submit my claims and I was refunded so quickly! They never pushed back as long as I provided details along with my invoice. They made my decision to get Bodie the help he needed so much easier and without the financial burden. They’ve called me a couple of times to check in with Bodie and to see if I needed any assistance. They are an outstanding company with truly compassionate individuals.

Excellent customer service! They always know our dog’s name and ask about him. We have had quite a few trips to the vet with this puppy, and the reimbursement process is a cinch with the app!
