AKC | Pet Insurance Review

i purchased the insurance and overriding genetic insurance for my newfie puppy, Bella Peek A Boo Bear when she was 5 months old. Who knew that she would be one of little ones that would need bilateral elbow dysplasia surgery and one year later bilateral TPLO surgery. Subsequent to the knee surgery, she developed a resistant UTI with skin lesions that required a lot of vet appointments and interventions to determine she has allergies. AKC Pet insurance stayed with us through all of these medical issues and have covered our claims without a shred of push back. AKC Pet Partner Insurance has not only given Bella and I piece of mind but has allowed me to focus on Bella's medical issues to get her the care she needed rather than fighting over medical bills. I had to call on a few occasions to help clarify some of the pieces in my policy. The company reps were friendly, knowledgeable and helped me immediately with my questions and concerns. I am pleased to share that Bella is now running through the backyard, playing ball and acting like a typical newfie who is now allergy and UTI free with the help of a few allergy meds. I would recommend and encourage folks to join the AKC insurance plans, especially those who has a purebred with high risk for certain medical issues that other insurances will not cover. I know that I will certainly purchase AKC Pet Insurance for everyone of my pets that come into my home.

This is the best purchase I have ever made. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that whatever comes my dog's way I won't have to stress or not about whether or not I can afford to take care of her. They are prompt with their payments and customer service is great if you ever need to make a call. My dog is on an expensive monthly shot that I would not be able to provide if it wasn't for AKC Pet Insurance. 10/10 would recommend!

They covered emergencies and my dogs hospitalization. I wish I would of taken on a higher line of coverage. This time, I did.

Outstanding. Prompt on claims. Feedback and follow up when a claim is pending. Customer service is amazing with answering questions. I recommed to every new pet owner I know.
