This Plan is a SHAM. Do not waste your money!

After making me jump through hoops to download their forms and take them to my Vet to fill out. this company covered NOTHING! I'm embarressed that I bothered my Vet and her staff to file any of the paperwork at all.The claims reps are company all the way and really of no help. I would never recommend this Insurence to anyone for any reason. My overall rating of this company is a big fat 0. I plan on contacting the AKC and giving them good scolding for endorsing this company to begin with.

Essential Plus

I love the coverage. It has paid for itself in the year that I have had it. I have always had top customer service and quick claim payment. I just wish coverage was more affordable but that is they way of life with insurance.

VERY POOR

I have had my policy for 3 years and have finally given up! This plan is a disaster! The hassles involved in submitting claims is excessive and I would estimate only 50% of mine have been approved. The last straw - they will not reimburse for medication refills unless the dog is seen by the vet (so the vet can complete their form). Chronically used medications, therefore, are not covered without significant additional cost and hassle. Don't waste your money with this plan! You would do better to pay out of pocket and will have a lot less hassle!

Terrific experience (s) w Pet Partners

I felt compelled to reply after reading some of the negative posts about Pet Partners insurance. I have had the insurance for my Bernese Mountain dog. He's unfortunately had several trips to the ER after ingesting things he shouldnt have- and even had to have surgery to removed something lodged in his stomach. Having this insurance has payed for itself 20 times over. I found the claim process quite simple and straightforward for all procedures- and even regular checkups and monthly meds like frontline and heartguard. I downloaded and faxed forms- and always received an acknowledgement in the mail within days and payment within a few weeks. If I needed additional information - they are very helpful on the phone providing options. I would reccomend this to anyone.
