This insurance is great
This insurance is great. I email the claim, and have reimbursement in less than a week. I have this insurance on both of my dogs. Very very happy with them.

AKC Pet Insurance is great!
Having AKC pet insurance has made it possible to get our dog the eye surgery he needs. The customer service is super helpful every time I've had to call. It has been great.

Kind staff
The staff are very kind. And very thorough if they don’t understand something they call you back after they talk to a supervisor. I am very impressed with the personnel The claims are paid very quickly which is helpful

An amazing company
An amazing company - 30 days after starting with the trail offer I decided to renew - good thing as my Corgi developed meningitis with expensive care over the next week - total bill at that point was almost 5K - after the co-pay and deductible they covered everything - no questions asked - You cannot go wrong here if you love your pets - and of course you do!
Monthly Cost
$5 – $90 depending on coverage options chosen.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 20% after your annual deductible.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Per incident limit of $1,500 – $8,000 and annual limits of $3,000 – $16,000 depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
Choose from $100 – $1,000 annual deductible.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll with no upper age limit. Coverage options available for senior pets.
Waiting Period
Coverage goes into effect one day after enrollment. There is a 5-day wait period for accident claims and 14-day wait period for illness claims.
AKC Pet Insurance provides 30 days of accident and illness insurance coverage included with AKC registration for newly registered puppies.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Customizable plans allow you to add-on coverage for inherited and congenital conditions, exam fees and wellness care.
Cancer coverage included in base accident and illness plan.
