How to Save on Veterinary Costs at A Valley Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

I drive past at least a dozen Vets on my way to Valley Animal. Why don't I go to a vet closer? Because our dogs get the best, most experienced care available. The level of love and compassion from Dr Ross and Dr Ivy is like nothing I've ever seen, and I've been bringing pets to Vets for 45 years. But really I don't go for the love & compassion, but it's really nice. I go because their level of experience, they've been doing this a while. If there's something wrong with your pet, they've probably seen it before. They also never try to sell you unnecessary services, I've heard stories of other Vets doing that. They are not about the $$$, Dr Ross and Dr Ivy are about keeping our pets healthy and around for as long as possible. This place is one of my favorite businesses.

My 14 year old beagle, Oliver, was bitten in the face and bleeding. The vet that had seen him previously would not see him. I called A Valley and the staff was great, the doctors are exceptional. It seems so seldom you find a group of people who are doing what they do because they love to do it. What a great team. We most sincerely thank you.

So impressed with Dr Ivy and the rest of the team. I feel like she genuinely cares and is always willing to take the time to answer questions. After procedures she'll call and check up on our pet.
