Dr. Vass has been our trusted vet for close to 20 years to our 4 beloved dogs. Of course, we will now be following him to Livewell Animal Hospital. I have such confidence in his knowledge and experience. When confronted with pet health issues, it’s such a comfort knowing our dogs are in his loving care and vast expertise. Having trust and confidence in a veterinarian is worth its weight in gold, and we have both with Dr. Vass! Dr. Vass cares deeply about each animal in his care! I’m always appreciative of the time he takes to check-in with follow up phone calls, as well as his availability and patience answering questions. I was impressed with the beautiful new facility, and the caring-professional staff! Dr. Vass and the Livewell Canyon Rim team are the BEST OF THE BEST!

We recently rescued a golden doodle named Duke. He was in need of a Veterinarian, luckily, that day I had stopped by the PetSmart and The store manager highly Recommended live well animal Hospital. From the moment Duke and I arrived at this office the staff was amazing. They were incredibly friendly, sweet and very professional. We soon met Dr. Vaas , who was so kind, knowledgeable and very compassionate. Duke was in need of some care , and we certainly came to the right place. If I could give this place 10 stars I would have. Thank you for taking such good care of Duke, We can’t thank you enough.

Grace was the most amazing, caring and sweetest person we could have asked for when we had to send our girl, Peyton, of ten years over the rainbow… she explained everything to well and let us make the decision. This was the hardest decision I’ve ever made and having her being so sweet during it all helped so much. I can not recommend this place enough… thank you for everything during this time for our family!!

Was able to walk in with my 2 Bernie doodles (Koda and Kona), intending to schedule an annual exam appointment and they took them right with no waiting! They were really great with my dogs and the dogs loved each of them that treated them. The doc was very informative and provided lots of alternatives and options such as dental care.They were even able to trim their nails during the appointment without having to schedule separate appointments. They are very thorough and provided lots of information for my pets regarding treatments. Great facility and very friendly and professional staff, my dogs have a new permanent place for all of their veterinary services!

Such a great hospital. Amazing reception staff, vet assistants, and doctor! Today our kitty, Bart Kitty, was found under a bookcase hiding and howling. He is a social kitty who never hides, is not vocal, and to our knowledge had no issues earlier in the day. I called the team to see if they would take him, and they immediately said "YES! Bring him in!" No hesitation, no negotiation, just a firm YES! Because it was Saturday, I was worried they would turn me away as I didn't have an appointment, but they were so accommodating! (And I know they had other pets they were seeing so I was incredibly grateful for their willingness to get us in!) The reception team immediately took me into a room (which was modern and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!,) the vet tech was there in seconds to triage Bart, and the doctor was in with results in minutes. They performed, what I feel was, appropriate diagnostics and determined Bart hurt his back jumping off a cat tower, bed, or other elevated surface. They gave Bart an anti-inflammatory and pain killing injection and sent me home with oral meds. And I am happy to report Bart is already on the mend! Thank you Dr. Vass and the entire team who dealt with Bart and my brand of "crazy." You guys are truly amazing! You were there when I needed you, showed complete empathy and understanding, and obviously take pride in the work you do. I will absolutely recommend you to anyone who needs an amazing vet! Customer Service, Medical Expertise, and Facility are spot on. Well done.
