Visited at around 8:30 pm. They were relatively quick with getting my son and his dog in a room and then being seen by a vet. The vet was professional, friendly, and thorough. The vet let us know what she was doing, and what to look for. She could've possibly nickel and dimed my son due to his worry, but she was realistic with the possibilities. Fortunately, all appeared well with the dog. Very impressed with the staff also.

I’m forever thankful for how responsive and kind the doctor and nurses here were!! They were able to quickly diagnose and care for my blocked cat with such a short notice and more than likely saved his life with such genuine and empathetic care! I couldn’t recommend somewhere more!

DO NOT GO HERE, i came here on halloween night and they don’t show sympathy at all and there wasn’t even anyone at the front desk to help for the first 10 minutes. we even called the phone and nothing so we just showed up. when we were in the waiting room i read the reviews and as i was reading them the receptionist finally came out to the waiting room and started focusing at my dogs teeth when he’s whimpering cause of his neck. the lady just talked bad about my dogs health pretty much and said she’ll be back to take us. I literally told everyone in that waiting room about the reviews and left to medvet animal hospital in orem, MAKE THE DRIVE if you can to medvet in SLC, they literally rushed out to my car cause they heard my dog crying in pain. TRUST THE REVIEWS, i had a best friend i took here years ago and they killed him pretty much. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE.

This place is a freaking joke! We called them with an emergency told him we were on our way. They were open until midnight. They told us on the phone they were accepting patients until 1030. We got there at 10 and they closed early. We saw them in the back walking back-and-forth and they didn’t give a damn. We saw her constantly peeking through to see if we had left. Tell me how that is a company that cares about your pets??? They close early because they didn’t want to do their job that night. My dog had a severe seizure. They do not deserve your business. Drive to Salt Lake City instead.

My dog had an abrasion that was getting infected, and she suddenly started limping quite significantly. It was 8 PM, and I wasn't sure if she could wait until the next morning. I called Pet Urgent Care, and the gentleman on the phone was incredibly helpful. He kindly answered all my medical questions and provided a ballpark cost estimate. There's always a regular urgent care fee, but beyond that, there's a discussion between the vet and the pet owner before any additional treatment is given to avoid surprise bills. I took her in, and they saw her right away. The vet tech, who was the same gentleman I spoke to, was very gentle with my anxious dog, calming and kind. The vet came in with the same kind demeanor and diagnosed a staph infection, explaining that it would require medication and careful observation. After we agreed on the treatment plan, I signed a document confirming my agreement. They provided the necessary medications, and we were on our way. It was a great experience.
