I came in today with my very, very, old kitty. It was very clear that today would have to be the day we put him down. When we walked in staff already knew his name, checking him in promptly. One nurse could see how distraught we were and quickly lead us to a room so we could have some privacy. When it came down to it, our nurse helped up make the right options and was transparent on the prices. Every staff member was caring and compassionate with my sweet kitty, surrounding him with love in his final moments. I appreciate the staff members giving us time to spend with him. When we were ready the doctor came in and carried out the procedure with care, reassuring us every step of the way. This was the best way we could've let go of my kitty. I read some other reviews critiquing the fact that they were left to leave on their own time, but for my family, quietly going made it easier. One of the best things they did for us was a handwritten condolence card where each nurse expressed their sympathy. I have the card hanging up now and everytime I look at it I can see how much love they have for their patients. All in all, thank you so much for helping my family today your kindness meant the world to me.

After bringing my cat to 4 other vets in the valley, I was ready to give up. She had skin issues no one could figure out. Dr. Griffiths was thorough in going over all my options. A month later and my kitty's allergic dermatitis is so much better! Not to mention, their pricing is about as cheap as you can get around here. I'll definitely be coming back :)

I brought my dog in and found out it he was so full of cancer that there really was no choice in what needed to happen. The vet was sweet and kind and it felt like he really cared. When we came in later that day as a family to say goodbye, he explained things to us in a straighforward manor with what felt like the most empathy. It was amazing. However when one employee came in to help us pick the box for the ashes and the name plate and paw thing, she did not know what she was doing. Litterally saying "I don't know" when I asked questions about the options. When I asked her to go ask someone who minght know, she then changed her mind and said she was ure about the answer (I'm asuming she just guessed). It would have been nice to talk to someone who knew what they were talking about. Also, we were given time alone to say goodbye. We were told to prop the door open when we were ready so they would not disturb us before then. As we were saying goodbye, there were a couple of female employees litterally across the 3 foot hallway laughing and having a great time. I don't expect them to be sad as this was not their fur baby, but could you have laughed and joked a bit further away? Then, I opened the door. I can tell you this was the hardest door I have ever opened. Then, nothing. We sat and sat and waited. It was agony. I had to finally walk out and get someone to tell the vet to come and put my dog down. You told us you would watch for the door. By the time we were ready, the laughing girls had walked away. This was so distressing. I will come back with my other dogs but only because your vet is the best one I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He was so sweet when he came in to give the injections. He was quiet and calm and I could not help but feel like he cared. Maybe you could just help the other employees know that this is a very difficult time for families and to give a bit more understanding to. When we finally walked out, we walked past 3 employees. None of them said a word to us. We just left.

We had to put our old and sick cat to sleep. They treated him like he was their own pet. It was a difficult time and they made it easier with their compassionate care of our cat.

One of our older personal dogs had an open wound from what we believe was a ruptured cyst, and the staff at Canyon View Cares were thorough, caring, and quick with getting his treatment started. I was super hesitant to use a new clinic with one of my senior dogs (my epilepsy detection dog at that), especially as an emergency visit, but the staff were able to answer all of my questions, and left me feeling secure with his care. Thank you guys for taking great care of our boy!
