We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Austin Teel at Ramsgate Veterinary Clinic. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, organized, and incredibly kind. We were called back right away, which made the entire visit smooth and stress-free for both me and my cat, Bella. Dr. Teel was professional, attentive, and took the time to make Bella feel comfortable during her appointment. It was clear that he genuinely cares about his patients and their owners. Bella was calm and happy throughout the visit, which says a lot because vet visits can often be stressful for pets. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The clinic was clean, efficient, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and compassionate. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention Bella received. I would highly recommend Dr. Teel and Ramsgate Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. The staff was so friendly. The vet was incredibly kind and attentive. They made our visit easy and took such good care of my cat. 10/10 this is my new vet home!

I’m disappointed in the care my dog received here. I brought her in multiple times because I knew something was seriously wrong, but I felt like my concerns were not fully heard or taken seriously. I repeatedly expressed that she was not eating, not drinking, breathing faster than normal, and declining, yet I left feeling uncertain and without clear answers. Unfortunately, I later had to take her to an emergency vet to get a second opinion after being unsatisfied with Ramsgate’s wait-and-see-what-happens-approach, where she was diagnosed with severe heart failure and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize her. I understand medicine can be complex and not every condition is obvious right away, but compassion, listening, and taking owner concerns seriously matter so much—especially when a pet is rapidly declining. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and attentiveness for future patients and families. This is only regarding Dr. Beckmann. We have had great experiences with other vets at this location.
