How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cottonwood Creek Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The people running this place are greedy as all heck! I took my 15 year old Boxer Evy to this place because she wasnt moving, eating, or drinking. We brought her in and they did their normal BS routine of hearing her heart, phusically checking her stomach ect. Then came the part that really pissed me off. After they did almost nothing, they then proceeded to tell me, "we want to run blood work, do a sonogram, and x-rays." All i heard was, "how can i profit off the hearts of my patient!" My boxer was 15 and no amount of test are going to prove anything that most of us already know: shes old and probably on her way out. My wife wanted to put her down but i said no, "if she dies, she dies with her family." I only got pain medications at this point to ease her passing. Well, turns out, she ate a rotten egg and was having advers side effects. She fully recovered 2 days after the visit, but unfortunately passed away 1 year later. SHE LIVED FOR ANOTHER YEAR! Im glad i made the choice i did but it makes me sick this vet preys on the weak and voluntable. Go literally anywhere else and save your money. The doctor that we took our boxer to in China Spring.

Oh so Special to us, taking care of our min pin's (Tucker) and (Stella). With shot caught up and monthly heart worm tablets. Thank you again Cotton Creek Veterinary, and the lady's handling the phones.

They have been taking care of my 3 year old Boxer Luna. Everyone at the front desk is very friendly, the doctors have been nothing but knowledgeables and friendly. We are extremely happy with their service.

Had a WONDERFUL experience here and highly recommend this clinic. Dr. Baugh is who helped us. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and we are so thankful for her. We actually live over an hour north and needed an emergency c-section on one of our sheep. Of course, as these things often happen, this emergency happened at night and no other vet near us was available. Very thankful for Dr Baugh!

The staff here are so kind and amazing. My dog passed yesterday and they took such care to take him to be cremated. You can see the compassion in their eyes. Thank you
